G & D Adult Day Service Program
Our Adult Day Program is a community based program, the individuals that attend our program explore new things, places and ideas. Our individuals visit the Zoo, Khrons Conservatory, Newport aquarium, County Fairs and much more. We also do various arts & crafts, we offer math skills, computer skills, writing skills, money management, personal shopping, music therapy & animal care. At our Farm the individuals help attend to the cow, chickens, goats and rabbits. The individuals also plant flowers and grow a garden. With the garden they grow sunflowers and enter them into the county fair and in 2005 a couple of our individuals won first place at the Brown County Fair with their sunflowers. Our program encourages the individuals to achieve their goals and to help them reach their fullest potential. Each individual that attend our day program receives $ 15,000 life insurance policy. G & D HAS 3 VANS THAT IS USED FOR OUR ADULT DAY SERVICE PROGRAM, WE HAVE A WHEELCHAIR VAN, 12 PASSENGER AND A MINI VAN.
